Dr. Bret Weinstein testifies with frightening details about suppression of freedom of speech at college campuses. In 2017 Weinstein was cornered in his classroom, threatened by leftist who demanded his resignation. The students were working with the university’s president against him. Weinstein testified before congress in 2018 about his experience that day. To be clear, he is not a conservative professor, he simply didn’t agree with a demand for all whites to leave campus for a day of “freedom” for minorities, and he refused to do so.
In May 2017, the professor discussed his experience that day with Tucker Carlson. Dr. Weinstein was afraid the story wouldn’t get out because the school is small and isolated. He wanted what is going on at that campus heard around the country, because he fears that freedom of speech on college campuses is gone. Weinstein and his wife both resigned from the university and received $500,000 after suing the university. They said the university failed to, “protect its employees from repeated provocative and corrosive verbal and written hostility based on race, as well as threats of physical violence.”
