White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders weighed in on Roger Stone’s arrest Friday, wondering why the same standard the Justice Department has applied to Stone hasn’t been employed with Hillary Clinton, James Comey and James Clapper.
Stone was arrested Friday morning in heavily armed pre-dawn FBI raid. The longtime political operative was indicted by a grand jury on charges with seven counts, including allegedly making false statements to Congress, tampering with a witness and obstructing a government investigation.
The high-profile indictments were brought by special counsel Robert Mueller in the second year of the Russia collusion investigation and have nothing to do with collusion, as President Trump pointed out following Stone’s arrest.
Greatest Witch Hunt in the History of our Country! NO COLLUSION! Border Coyotes, Drug Dealers and Human Traffickers are treated better. Who alerted CNN to be there?

Sanders questioned why the scandal-plagued former Democratic presidential candidate and former FBI officials haven’t been held to the same standard Stone has.
“Let the courts make the decision,” Sanders said regarding Stone’s recent arrest. “A bigger question is: If this is the standard, will the same standard apply to people like Hillary Clinton, James Comey and Clapper?”
“Will we see the same people we know have all made false statements – will that same standard apply?” she continued. “That’s a question we’ll see what happens on that front?”
